Straight answers
What kinds of laptops do you repair?
Most consumer and business laptops, including 2-in-1s. Call with your make and model and we'll confirm we can service it before you bring it across town.
Do I need an appointment?
For drop-off repairs, call 603-645-0101 ahead of time or check current hours on grolen.com so we can plan bench time for you.
What happens to my data during a repair?
We always recommend keeping a current backup of your important data, ideally before your computer ever needs repair. In some cases, the problem that caused your computer to need service may have already damaged or put your data at risk.
While we take care to protect your files during the repair process, unexpected issues can occur. If you don’t have a current backup, we can create an image of your drive before beginning any repair work for $49.95. Provided the drive and file system are in good condition, this gives us a copy of your data as it existed when the computer was brought in.
For the best protection, however, nothing replaces having a current backup in place before a problem occurs.
Is it even worth repairing an older laptop?
Sometimes, yes. We'll compare the repair cost against the machine's age and what it'll actually do after the fix — and say honestly if a replacement is the better spend.
